Ranking Every Alfred Hitchcock Movie, From Worst Reviewed to Best

THE MASTER OF SUSPENSE MADE SOME OF THE MOST CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED FILMS OF ALL TIME.

There's no question that Alfred Hitchcock made some of the most critically acclaimed films of all time. Between Psycho, Rebecca, North by Northwest, Rear Window, and Vertigo, picking the best Hitchcock movie can be a real challenge. That's why we decided to leave it in the hands of the experts—the critics. To see how these films have been received over the years, we're ranking every Hitchcock movie by Rotten Tomatoes score.

Because Alfred Hitchcock was such a prolific filmmaker—he made several silent films only the most diehard fans have heard of, and a handful of movies that have been lost entirely—we had to include some restrictions. Only films with 20 or more reviews on Rotten Tomatoes were considered for the ranking, which means we were able to narrow things down to a still respectable 35 movies. Read on to see where your favorite Hitchcock falls on the list. And for an appraisal of more contemporary classics, we're also ranking Ranking Every Marvel Movie, From Worst Reviewed to Best.
