Meghan Markle and King Charles' Letters May Lead to the Unmasking of the "Royal Racist"

A SERIES OF LETTERS BETWEEN MEGHAN AND HER FATHER-IN-LAW COULD HOLD THE KEY TO REVEALING THE IDENTITY OF WHO IS BEHIND THE ALLEGED RACE ROW.

Over the years, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made a number of shocking allegations against the Royal Family. One of the most damaging? That Meghan was discriminated against because of her race. Both Harry and Meghan have touched upon the topic of race issues with the Royals, ranging from unconscious bias to downright racism. However, they have yet to name any names as to who the "Royal Racist" is. According to a new report, at the time the incident occurred Meghan and King Charles wrote to each other in a series of letters, and in them, the identity of the person in question is revealed.

According to The Telegraph, Meghan and her father-in-law, who was then Prince Charles, traded a series of letters. In them, the racist was identified and it was a "senior" member of the family.  

The situation occurred prior to Harry and Meghan's engagement. The couple claims that "concerns" were raised over a series of "several conversations" with Harry "about how dark [Archie's] skin might be when he's born."

While Harry and Meghan have never confirmed who the individual was, they have said that it was neither the late Queen Elizabeth nor her husband, Prince Phillip. 

"The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately," Queen Elizabeth responded to the allegations at the time.

During his interview with Tom Bradby Harry tried to minimize the comments previously made. "Did Meghan ever mention that they're racist?" he said. "She said there were troubling comments about Archie's skin color," Bradby responded."That there was concern about his skin color," Harry replied. "Right, wouldn't you describe that as essentially racist?" said Bradby. "I wouldn't, not having lived within that family," said Harry. 

"The difference between racism and unconscious bias, the two things are different. But once it's been acknowledged, or pointed out to you as an individual, or as an institution, that you have unconscious bias, you therefore have an opportunity to learn and grow from that in order so that you are part of the solution rather than part of the problem," he said.

According to The Telegraph, Meghan expressed concerns about unconscious bias in her letters to the King, adding that she had never intended to specifically accuse the person "of being a racist, but was raising concerns about unconscious bias." The Telegraph also insinuated that Team Meghan may have been behind the leaking of the letters.

Team Meghan responded to the supposed letters."The Duchess of Sussex is going about her life in the present, not thinking about correspondence from two years ago related to conversations from four years ago," one of her spokespersons said. "Any suggestion otherwise is false and frankly ridiculous. We encourage tabloid media and various royal correspondents to stop the exhausting circus that they alone are creating."
